First Hampshire & Dorset Limited have advised the Town Council, having looked at the long term viability of the route, of its intention to deregister the 6 service, the last day of operation will be Friday 1st May 2020.
Dorset Council have also been made aware of their intention.
The Town Council will discuss this disappointing news at a meeting on Tuesday 28th January in the Public Hall at 7.00pm. The meeting is a public meeting, this is your opportunity to come along and voice your concerns.

WATAG are holding their next General Meeting on Thursday 23rd January 2020 at the WI Hall, Bridport at 6.30pm the agenda for the meeting includes items on the future of the Bridport, Beaminster and Yeovil strategic route and community initiatives including the CB3 Saturday service (run by Beaminster Town Council).
WATAG meetings are open to the public and take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
