With Christmas 2019 behind us and the Square returning to normal the Christmas Lights Committee are already thinking about the 2020 Lights Festival.
The positive response on social media to the 2019 lighting was most welcome however it is important the Committee be aware of all feedback, not only on the lighting but also the events of the evening, both good and bad.
The Town Council, in forming a Committee to oversee the event, was to involve the community by appointing non council members on the Committee to work alongside a small number of councillors.
The concept worked well in the first few years however now the number of Council members are in majority and we need to address the balance.
