Free counselling at Beaminster’s Prout Bridge Project.
If you’re not already aware of the army of amazing people working hard to make our community great, then here’s just one more example.
You’ll no doubt already be aware of the Prout Bridge Project – an non-profit organisation that is run by a number of hard-working people with the aim to eliminate loneliness and provide a safe-haven for young and old to get together, feel valued, get involved in all kinds of great things, and so much more.
And they’ve just upped the anti even more.
The team at the Prout Bridge Project also offer *FREE* counselling sessions for anyone that simply needs an unbiased, non-judgemental ear to listen to them. Catering to both young people and adults, these counselling sessions are held regularly by a qualified and experienced counsellor, all coordinated by the amazing Amy Laurence.
They write:
“Counselling is a listening service and allows you to be heard. It helps people to understand themselves better and to find ways to improve their lives.
Confidential Counselling sessions can be used for any concerns that are personal to you, such as self-confidence, relationships, sexuality, bereavement, depression, anger, anxiety, lifestyle. You can talk about anything you wish – it’s up to you!
You will be asked to fill in a referral form and a counsellor will contact you to make an appointment”.
If you need to talk to someone, then here’s an opportunity that won’t cost you anything, and could help you move through whatever challenge you’re facing.
