We had a large turn out of residents at the Council meeting on the 28th January due to the proposal by First to de-register the No. 6 Bus Route in May. It was strongly voiced by the residents attending that families, workers, students, children and the retired population all need access to the larger towns for employment, further education, shopping, doctors, dentists, hospital appointments, libraries, train links etc. A special meeting to further discuss the bus was arranged for the 3rd February and would be headed up by Dorset Councillor Mrs Rebecca Knox.
Other items discussed were Twinning, Rights of Way, Climate Change Emergency and the proposed Skatepark.
