Beaminster Town Council have learnt that unfortunately our local Fruit ‘n Two Veg grocer has had to close its doors for a short period due to someone in the store becoming unwell. While we give Anthony and Helena space to take the time they need to recuperate, we understand that many vulnerable folk in our community will now not have immediate access to fresh fruit and vegetables. To help with the current situation, the Town Council have put together an emergency plan for those who are unable to source their own fruit and vegetables or have anyone who can help them directly.
Emergency Supplies
To help the most vulnerable in our community through this period, the Town Council is putting together a mixture of fruit and vegetable packages for emergency cases only. Please note that because of the additional strain that this will be putting on the team, and due to extensive logistical arrangements, this offering will only be available for emergency use for those who do not have anyone who could source your fresh produce on your behalf. We therefore strongly urge the community to please do what they can to self-help before requesting an emergency supply. The packs will include standard items and will not be available for bespoke fruit & vegetable requirements.
