A little while ago we posted a blog about ways to reserve your spot in Beaminster Square. We’ve had a great response so far, and the Saturday morning slots are filling up – so we thought we’d let you know what’s happening!
Saturday, 26 September: Free Spirits will be entertaining us with their fantastic sounds this coming Saturday morning. Based in Bridport, this musical duo plays an eclectic mix of music using guitar, harmonica and the slide guitar and featuring all kinds of musical flavours from Fats Waller to Keb Mo. They’ll also be performing on 24 October, 21 November and the morning of 5 December too.
Saturday, 17 October: Enjoy the sounds of Music group Red Kite
Saturday, 7 November: The Rotary team will be setting up their Plant Sale stand in the Square where you can pick up some fantastic seasonal favourites for the garden. You can also see them on the morning of 21 November too for some last-minute plant deals!
Saturday, 14 November: Red Kite return with some folky favourites.
Saturday, 12 December: Join Rough Assembly for some fantastic folk music sounds. Find out more about them on their Facebook page!
Saturday, 19 December: The carol-singers will be in the square getting us into the spirit of Christmas. Although we may not have the usual Christmas fanfare this year, we’re still hoping to create some fantastic ways to become part of the festive season – while being safe and responsible!
There are a host of additional things coming to Beaminster soon – so make sure you keep an eye on Discover Beaminster for all of the latest updates.
Remember – if you want to book the Square for something, just get in touch with us to make sure that it’s not reserved by someone else at the time!
