The community of Beaminster are being innovative again – and this time, it’s looking at how they can bring some of their own Festive Cheer to their neighbours around them.
Laura Anderton has been in touch about something a group of them are doing in Myrtle Close on 18 December at 6pm, with a view to encouraging others in Beaminster, to take part in their own immediate communities and homes.
The idea is that on Friday 18 December at 6pm, wherever you are, within whichever bubble you find yourself – whether at work or at home, to grab those around you and kick off a few Christmas Carols to celebrate the Christmas Spirit, and to bring a bit of cheer and laughter to those around you.
Our community, as with many others, has been through a rough 2020; many not having spent time with their loved ones, many having lost loved ones – and Christmas just doesn’t quite feel the same.
So, if you’re in the mood – why don’t you join the efforts, wherever you are, tune in your own voices, and join the Christmas Carol initiative.
