Tangerine’s Kellie Court up for an Unsung Hero Award in Dorset Tourism Awards
When news is good, it’s good. But when news about Beaminster is good, it’s GREAT! So, how wonderful it was to find out this past week that Kellie Court, who works at Tangerine Cafe, is up for an Unsung Hero Award in this year’s Dorset Tourism Awards.
The Unsung Hero Award is a new category in the Dorset Tourism Awards and was introduced as a way to recognise and celebrate individuals who have gone beyond the call of duty, and who ‘excels in their role and deserves to be applauded for their work and commitment to the industry.’
The award is intended for those who continually go above and beyond, offering exceptional service to visitors.
The tourism industry has taken a huge hit during the past year, much the same with hospitality and retail too; and to know that there are individuals like Kellie, who continues to deliver, continues to build hope and continues to do her absolute best to make sure that the people she works with, and longside, have the best customer experience!
Well done, Kellie! We have our fingers and toes crossed! You’ve already won in our eyes!
