Do you care about what happens in and around Beaminster?
Many are aware of the Government’s drive for additional housing and have allocated Dorset Council with providing sites for about 30,000 new dwellings, during the period up to 2038.
Dorset Council is currently consulting residents about the Local Plan, which sets out what is planned across Dorset.
A ‘Climate Emergency’ has been declared and also with the changing life patterns brought on by COVID we all need to think carefully about our future needs.

Should we be operating more locally and considering our future more carefully?
The Dorset Council Local Plan sets out what is planned for Beaminster. It may shock you by what IS and is NOT proposed and what should come first.
