Huck Booth – A Skateboarding Story
Huck Booth (14) began skating about four years ago, but it wasn’t until the Beaminster Skatepark was completed that his skateboarding really took off. If it’s dry and daylight he’s there pretty much year-round and it, along with his dogged determinism, has been a significant help to his meteoric rise on the UK skate scene.
He’s won many local skate competitions, was selected to enter this year’s national skate championships and has collected quite a few sponsors that are helping him progress his career in skateboarding, including Koncrete Killers, Deez Nuts, Clown Skateboards, Frontside Clothing, Wai Clothing, and two more coming in the next week or so. He recently started a dedicated Instagram account for the skate park @Beaminsterskatepark20 and is one of the park’s keenest supporters.
If you keen on skateboarding, or supporting our young community, make sure you get along to the skatepark and check out Huck and his fellow skaters. Or better still, give it a go yourself!
