2.20pm All those who wish to parade gather outside the Fire Station
2.35pm The parade sets off
The route will take us down Hogshill Street, around the Square and will finish at St. Mary’s Church.
3pm Remembrance Church Service
Those joining the parade include the Royal British Legion, Beaminster Town Council, The Scouts, Beaminster St Mary’s Academy and Beaminster School, the Women’s Institute, Chris Loder MP and others.
Please note that the roads through Beaminster will be closed from 2pm to 3pm for the parade.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Cllr Nigel Corbett, Becky Groves and her team at Little Groves Nursery and electrician Brian Gale who have all volunteered their time to once again produce a stunning War Memorial tribute for the town.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
