Beaminster Christmas Lights Festival – 29th November 2019
That magical time of year is fast approaching. Beaminster’s Christmas Lights Festival is always a truly enjoyable beginning to the Festive Season, and the Christmas Committee have been working all year round, some would argue that they’ve been more productive than Santa’s elves themselves, to ensure a lovely event for the entire family!
Packed full of exciting things to enjoy, soaking up the festive atmosphere will be just the tonic you need. You could visit Santa in his Grotto, take a roundabout ride, enjoy the lantern parade and even enjoy some magical snow for the children. The evening will be abuzz with fantastic live music and carol singing while keeping your bellies warm with the delicious food and mulled wine that will be available. Enjoy the Christmas Fair and some brilliant late-night Christmas shopping in and around the Square.
The culmination of the evening will be the lighting up of the Christmas Tree in the Square, and the lucky person that will be doing the honours this year, will be our competition winner Escarla Kernan, a student at Beaminster School and designer of this year’s poster. Congratulations Escarla, we look forward to seeing you there.
