Julie Montagu, Viscountess Hinchingbrooke, is a wonderfully familiar face in Beaminster. Not only is she an American entrepreneur, yoga instructor, blogger and more, she also runs the Mapperton Estate with her husband when she’s not in London. Many would know Julie for her recent series ‘An American Aristocrat’s Guide to Great Estates’ which has aired in the UK and US, as well as her very popular YouTube Channel where she takes viewers on behind-the-scenes tours of their 500-year old home, Mapperton House.
Both Luke and Julie have been huge supporters of all-things Beaminster, and more recently, their amazing generosity was put into practise when they supplied, together with their Head Chef from the Coach House Cafe, loads of hot meals during the lockdown period for those who needed additional support, as part of the Beaminster Community Resilience Plan.
And because we love any and all opportunity to showcase our wonderful community, the businesses in it, the warmth of the people who keep it going, we were overjoyed when we heard that Julie had created a beautiful Guide to Beaminster, as part of her Travels With Julie YouTube series.
