I wanted to take the time to thank all those businesses who supported the Council’s efforts with our Beaminster in Bloom scheme. I think you will agree that our hanging baskets look fantastic alongside our summer decorations in the Square. I’d also like to thank Becky and the team at Little Groves for the amazing support they have given.
We are so grateful to the town in supporting this idea that I’m delighted to share our little ‘Beaminster in Bloom’ Awards. Over the month of August our Judges will be walking the four corners of the town to see who has made a fantastic effort in planting their gardens to brighten up Beaminster even more. Those top ten gardens will win a £20 voucher for Groves.
This is a bit of fun but those gardens that follow a eco/green theme will earn brownie points. So plant that old Wellington boot, pop some strawberry plants in an old bucket or even a flower bed in a bath. It doesn’t need to be a big display, just a fun one. We will not be going into peoples gardens so all efforts should be easily visible. Good luck!
