BEAMINSTER COMMUNITY GRANTS
Beaminster Town Council is committed to supporting local groups and initiatives to enhance the quality of life for its residents.
For many years, grants had been given annually to a small number of organisations. With the financial climate during and post the Covid pandemic being somewhat challenging, the Town Council felt it had to review how it might assist as many local groups and organisations as efficiently possible within its limited funds.
In 2023, the Council introduced a Grant Policy which offers guidelines for those wishing to apply to the Council for financial assistance.
Applications are welcome anytime during the year, however they will only be considered at the Finance & General Purposes Committee meeting scheduled to take place in October. Only applications submitted on the official application form will be considered.
