Beaminster Town Council’s Community Resilience team have already met to discuss the current situation relating to Coronavirus and are meeting on a very regular basis as this situation unfolds. The team are also liaising with Dorset Council’s Emergency Planning Team for further advice.
We have a database of willing volunteers to assist our community during this time however we may need further volunteers so if you feel you would be willing and able to help please contact the Town Council and if needed we will be in touch. Please can you do this via email headed VOLUNTEER to email@example.com and include your name, address and phone number.
Individuals will be making plans to help neighbours, friends and family and we would advise all to look at official government/NHS guidance to ensure this is done is a safe manner.
Please be reassured that there is help in the town for anyone who needs it. For those in need the contact details are Beaminster Town Council offices on 01308 863634 during office hours. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and strictly for emergency use only call 07971 533858.
The months ahead will be challenging but we have a fantastic community here and we will all pull together to assist one another to get through this.
