Beaminster Town Council is looking to recruit a new member to its team. Is that you?
The Town Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fulfil the part-time position of Enforcement Officer.
The role involves a significant amount of time patrolling within the parish, dealing with enforcement duties relating to dog-fouling and other control offences, the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices and gathering evidence for formal proceedings if required.
The successful candidate should be able to work flexibly on their own initiative, to have good communication skills when dealing with the public. A working-knowledge of the Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984 or the Regulations of Investigative Powers Act 200 would be desirable although training will be given.
The position will be subject to DBS check via the disclosure procedure.
